Recurring giving isn't an enterprise feature

The math on monthly giving is not subtle. A $25/month donor is a $300/year donor who renews by default. Yet the platforms small nonprofits can afford either don’t offer recurring gifts or hide them behind a pricing tier.

The hard parts (that you shouldn’t have to think about)

Recurring giving is genuinely hard to do well:

  1. Card vaulting and retries. Cards expire, get reissued, hit soft declines. A dumb retry schedule churns donors a smart one keeps.
  2. Self-serve management. Donors must be able to pause, resume, or cancel without emailing you — that’s what makes them comfortable signing up at all.
  3. Strong customer authentication. Off-session charges in a post-SCA world need careful handling, or gifts silently strand.

DonorNode ships all of it on every plan, on your own Stripe account. Try a monthly gift in the live demo — test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 works.
