Privacy Policy
How DonorNode collects, uses, and protects information on donornode.com.
Last updated: August 22, 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how DonorNode (“DonorNode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses information when you visit donornode.com (the “Site”) or contact us through the Site. It does not cover the DonorNode application at app.donornode.cloud, which is governed by a separate agreement with the nonprofit that operates it.
Our commitment: we do not share your information
DonorNode does not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information collected through this Site to third parties for their promotional, advertising, or marketing use. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not disclose it to data brokers.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form or email us, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard log information (IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps) and use cookies and similar technologies for analytics.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information as described in Google’s own privacy documentation.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the information you request.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- Understand aggregate traffic patterns and measure content performance.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.
Consistent with our commitment above, we do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes, and we do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated marketing.
Limited operational disclosures
We do not share your personal information with third parties, with only these narrow operational exceptions, none of which involve marketing, advertising, or resale of your information:
- Service providers strictly necessary to operate the Site (for example, hosting, analytics, and form/email processing), acting on our behalf under obligations of confidentiality and permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
- Legal compliance and safety, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case any successor will be bound by this Policy.
Cookies and tracking
The Site uses cookies for analytics and to remember basic preferences. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@donornode.com.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites; please review their own privacy practices.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
